Harold Boué aka Abstraxion is a french London based producer. His two previous singles on Different Recordings, Jus` Acid and Jaipurs Elephant were supported by Andrew Weatherall, Erol Alkan and Brodinski to name but a few.
Harold explains his idea behind this new track,`The word Moribayasa comes from Guinea, it’s a dance for a woman who has overcome a great adversity.
The idea was to create hypnotic and psychedelic music that makes the body dance. Something that is pulled from deep inside to create a chant, from darkness to light. A kind of a shamanic experience.`
The stellar remix package comes courtesy of Pokerflat`s Argy, DJ Kaos from DFA and Brioski rom Nang Records.
The video for the single is suitably rhythmic and shamanic.
Abstraxion – Moriyabasa is available on digital download and 12” through Different Recordings on 27/02/2012

‘Champion Sound’ is undisputedly one of the highlights from Crystal Fighters’ much lauded debut album ‘Star Of Love. So It’s fitting that it will be the last single before they head off to the Basque country, whose folk music and culture has been such an inspiration, to write their much anticipated second album.
Co-produced by the band and Luke Smith (who produced Foals’ ‘Total Life Forever’) it’s a beautiful, contemplative record that melds modern techno and the traditional Basque instruments that has become the band’s signature sound. It’s also a highlight of their live show that has the crowds singing along in unison to every word.
The video to `Champion Sound` features english actor Luke Treadaway in the lead role and costume supplied by Vivienne Westwood. Watch the video Champion Sound here
